Yesterday I posed the question, “Can you over train?” along with the response, “Short answer, yes.”
I concluded by noting that I’ve been overtraining recently, and I was taking yesterday as a day off. Well, apparently I’m not really succeeding at this whole “taking a rest day thing.”
On my “rest day” I had a long walk with my family, did my daily back maintenance routine, and my normal set of Kung Fu patterns. Total:

- Distance, 8.88 km
- Active hours, 9
Along the way I taught my middle boy to bake bread and played road hockey with my youngest.
Strangely enough, I’m still feeling stiff and sore.
But today I’m going to take a day off.
Really.
